Music: The Instrumental of The Guitar Knives' New Original, Get Away The weeks have gone by so fast here at MIT. A quick update: The Guitar Knives are back! Our guitarist is back from Australia (World Solar Car Race - MIT got 5th) and we are ready to get going on some new tunes! We've got a big show on December 4th. Hopefully we can throw some new songs into the mix. The new student organization, The MIT Live Music Connection I've started with my friends has really taken off. We had our 2nd show of the 'Coffeehouse' MIT Concert Series. 2 MIT bands had the opportunity to entertain 39 attendees at one of our more cozy shows in the Coffeehouse. This has been a unique experience and opportunity. The feeling of providing value to the MIT music community and community at large is amazing To know that those shows wouldn't have happened without us, and of course the cooperation and hard work of the bands themselves, is so powerful. We are continuing to work to make the concerts and the live music we're bring together on campus sustainable. In other news, a lot's been happening with my new business (Laser Kard, Impact Services) and we are currently figuring out a supplier as well as incorporating, and I continue to move forward with planning MIT Camp Kesem's (camp for children of cancer patients) Teen Program. More on those later...
